Let me Introduce Myself

My name is Brenda Tschetter.

I mostly grew up in Alden, NY. A small country town located in western New York. My father was a welder and worked very hard to support our family. I have a brother and sister whom I love very much. My parent’s divorced after 22 years of marriage. When my father remarried, I was blessed with additional family members including my stepmom Dodi. She has been like a mother to me. I met my husband when I was 16 years old. We married when I was 18 years old. This year we celebrated 23 years of marriage. He has been a very important part of my life. I am so happy to have him as my best friend along this journey. I wasn’t able to have children so we have many animals that have became part of the family, including my service dog Bella. I grew up loving English class and taking business classes. I worked in the dental field as an office manager for over 14 years which helped prepare me. I’ve encountered many health issues that made me unable to work starting in 2013. With thanks to God, I started writing in 2018. Here we are in 2020, and I thank God everyday to where He has brought me. I know in my heart that it was God who kept me alive. He was with me in the past, in the present, and will be with me in my future! His endless love, compassion, grace and mercy! I want to give Him all the glory.

I love writing and inspiring people. I’m passionate about writing and write from the heart. I do drawings in lead pencils and color. Other activities I love are Christian music and movies, reading, camping, hiking, being outdoors, fishing, swimming, sewing, puzzles, arts and crafts. I’m an animal lover. I have two dogs, 8 birds, 3 snakes, and two frogs. I like to stay busy. Family is one of the most important aspects of my life. I do a lot of homemade cooking and baking for my friends and family. Since I’m a writer, I made a healthy cookbook that is available on my site as well.

I’m a member of Word Weavers International. I’m a member of Amherst Church Of Christ.
