Daughter Of Zion

Zephaniah 3:14–20

Israel’s Joy and Restoration

14  Sing aloud, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel! Rejoice and exult with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem!

15  The Lord has taken away the judgments against you; he has cleared away your enemies. The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst; you shall never again fear evil.

16  On that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: “Fear not, O Zion; let not your hands grow weak.

17  The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.

18  I will gather those of you who mourn for the festival, so that you will no longer suffer reproach.

19  Behold, at that time I will deal with all your oppressors. And I will save the lame and gather the outcast, and I will change their shame into praise and renown in all the earth.

20  At that time I will bring you in, at the time when I gather you together; for I will make you renowned and praised among all the peoples of the earth, when I restore your fortunes before your eyes,” says the Lord.

I am a Daughter of Zion, of Jerusalem.  A daughter of the King.  I dwell in the Father’s house.  I will sing.

God has removed my punishment for my sins.  He is getting rid of my enemies.  They will not be able to hurt me because He lives with me.

My troubles will end and I will not fear disaster.  He is here with me and protecting me.  I am safe in His arms.

I need to keep my head up and be courageous.  He is my help and rescue, my mighty Savior who saves me again and again.

God delights in me and sings over me.  I am His treasure.  He rejoices over me and is glad.  His love calms my mind and gives me hope and peace.

I cannot be disgraced in His eyes.  Those who oppressed (heinous crimes) me will be crushed.  I was weak and helpless but He saved me.

I was chased a way by man.  Exiled and unloved to the point I exiled myself.  God called me out.  He chased me down and removed my shame.

He gave me a name that is set apart with distinction.  I’m unique.  He will show them that I belong to Him.  He will restore me and my fortunes before their very eyes.  They will know He is God.

God has spoken and these are His promises.

I love to write inspirational and spiritual pieces that are full of encouragement and engaging. I write about real life events filled with emotion. I want to help and encourage all those who are struggling and in pain, who are suicidal, and fill them with hope. The good news. I love to cook and have a healthy cookbook available as well.
