That little girl who was 14, she didn’t know any better. She tried to be in control but she wasn’t. People used and abused her. They took advantage of her. They took her heart and left it there to die. They took her innocence and hope. They robbed her of her inner child. They stole her joy in life. They scared her permanently with hurt and pain. Which was too much for this child to bear. They oppressed her and took away her beliefs. They robbed her of who she is.
Acknowledge her. Give her grace and forgiveness. She needs compassion and love. She needs to exist here with you. She needs mercy from you for her soul. Do not abandon her. Hold her and love her. Show her she is wanted and loved.
Forgive her and receive her. Embrace her and hold her tight. Don’t let her go. Restore in her who she is. Who she is to become… Restore her and she will restore you.
Learn to like her and yourself. Telling her she is worthy. She is part of you. Give her peace.
“My peace I give you and my peace I leave with you.”
Accept God’s gift of restoration. His gifts and blessings, He giveth to you, you need to accept. Otherwise, they are not truly a gift. They only become one when you accept them. Embrace them and you shall receive.
God will restore all that you have lost. Your inner child and your peace. The joy you have lost. All the pieces to your broken heart, He will pick them up where they were scattered and bring them together. Restoring your health and your wounds because you were an outcast among society. Those who should have cared for you did not.
They failed you but God will never fail you.
Humanity is evident in the Scars of Jesus’ hands…
I don’t know who this is written by but this is a great song.
THE SCARS IN THE HANDS OF JESUS
1. My eyes haven’t seen, nor have my ears heard what the Father has in store
But when I hear the sound of a sweet singing bird, I’m closer than I’ve been before
To that heavenly home, built by God alone, according to His perfect plan.
Where the only thing there that’s been made by man are the scars in the hands of Jesus.
Yes, I’m headed for a home built by God alone.
Hallelujah, Praise the Lord I am.
Where the only thing there that’s been made by man
Are the scars in the hands of Jesus.
2. When I see a mountain covered with snow that’s fallen from heaven above,
It makes me feel small, hardly nothing at all, to know I’ll be a part of
That mansion world where the gates of pearl are opened by an angel band,
And the only thing there that’s been made by man are the scars in the hands of Jesus.
Heaven is perfect and untouched by the hands of man. The only thing made by man is the scars in Jesus’s hands. I choose to believe that. I can’t wait for this new home and a new spiritual body with flesh that will never decay. When I’ll be part of His Kingdom and hear the angels singing out. When I finally walk through the gate, that part of my life, into eternity with Jesus.
I can only imagine the goodness He has in store.
Lord, please restore me to who I am…
